One towel features the 2008 Marimekko pattern Pakkanen, designed by Maija Louekari, a young talented member of Marimekko’s design team since 2003. The Pakkanen pattern is an example of Maija Louekari’s typical line drawing with sketch-like birds in black, perched on bright blue stylistic branches.
